Chassis
Frame and rear springs
Check the chassis rails, the rear leaf spring hangers and the cab mounts. Tell us about any welding or treatment and send clear photos underneath. Corrosion doesn't stop us buying; it simply helps get the figure right.
This is what we look at on every L200, and what's worth telling us, so your offer is right first time.

Engine
The 2.5 DI-D in the Series 4 uses a timing belt that needs changing on time, and later 2.4 and 2.2 engines carry a DPF that can block on short trips. Tell us when the belt was last done and about any turbo, injector or DPF work.
Cab & edition
A single-cab 4Work goes to a different buyer than a Barbarian X. Tell us the exact model and options such as leather, the automatic gearbox, sat nav or Super Select four-wheel drive.
Load bed
A dented bed on a working L200 is normal. Tell us about hard tops, canopies, roll bars, roller shutters, bed liners and tow bars: they add value for the next owner.
Drivetrain
Some L200s have Super Select, which can be used on tarmac, while others have part-time Easy Select. Tell us about any trouble engaging four-wheel drive, clutch slip or gearbox noise.
History
Mention big recent jobs like a timing belt, clutch, turbo or springs. No history? We'll value it on what we can see.
This page explains what we look at when we value an L200. It isn't a price guide: every truck is valued individually, free and without obligation.
No. Just tell us and we'll factor it in.
No. Leave it on and tell us if you want to keep it.
It helps but isn't essential.

We'll give you a firm offer once we have the registration, mileage and a few photos.
